I am originally from Derbyshire and trained in Medicine at St Andrews University in Fife, Scotland, before continuing my clinical studies at Cambridge University, from which I graduated in 2004. Since then I have worked at both Addenbrooke's and Hinchingbrooke Hospitals' in many departments including Neurology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Respiratory and A+E. During this time I was involved in teaching Medical Students and Junior Doctors which I thoroughly enjoyed, and medical education is an area I hope to become more involved in as GP.

In my spare time I play bass guitar with a few different groups of varying styles in Cambridge, and have recently bought a house there too. I look forward to many happy years at The Spinney.
