I underwent my medical training in the East End of London at St
Bartholomew's and the Royal London Medical School. I qualified in 2003
and spent the following year working in Essex. Then in 2004 I moved up
to Cambridge to begin my GP training. During the following 3 years I
worked at Addenbrookes Hospital in Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics
and Gynaecology. I also had the opportunity to work in Palliative Care
at the Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge and I spent time in a community
paediatric post. I completed my GP training working as a GP Registrar at
Burwell Surgery.
After qualifying as a GP in August 2007 I spent a month travelling in
Queensland Australia. On my return I started my GP life as a locum in
and around Cambridgeshire. I was delighted to take up my post at The
Spinney in March of this year. It already feels like home and I am
looking forward to developing my career as a GP here in the years to
come.
