12:23 14/01 - Expert Patient Programme

This is a six week course for adults living with any health condition (physical mental or both) – its free.
It helps patients take control of their health by learning new skills to manage their condition.

Course topics include

Managing tiredness and pain
Coping with feelings of depression
Rexation techniques and exercise
Healthy eating
Action planning and problem solving technicques
Communication skills with healthcare professionals, family, friends, colleagues.

The sessions are 2.5 hours long and in Hemingford Grey.
Patients must be over 18 and must be able to get there as there is no transport.
Its first come first served and there are a total of 40 places available.
