We provide a range of services and clinics.

We offer Immunisation clinics on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  If these times are difficult for working parents we can contact the parents directly and arrange a suitable appointment. Patients will be contacted with an appointment.

The surgery offers cervical screening at the surgery and encourages all eligible patients to attend regular screenings.

You will be contacted when your annual bloods are due, and follow up appointment will be arranged

 If you are diabetic you will be contacted via the surgery to book in for your annual bloods and then follow up will be arranged.

District (community) nursing teams assess, plan and provide nursing clinical care to people who are housebound due to ill health. They can be contacted on 03307 260077.

All patients need to have an ear check prior to attending for ear syringe. We now have a waiting list ,clinic will be created once there are enough patients to do a clinic.  If urgent appointment is required for audiology purposes please speak to reception.

Available most days suitable for pill checks, not suitable for starting contraception, GP appt will be required for this initially.Speak to reception team or fill out a Klinik form.

Health Visitors work with families with a child aged 0 to five to identify health needs as early as possible and improve health and wellbeing. They can be reached on 0300 029 5050 (option 2).

INR clinics are available Tuesday morning  and a few late appointments Tuesday afternoon.  Please note: these appointments are booked by the anticoagulation clinic at HBH.  If you wish to change your appointment time or need to cancel your appointment,  you will need to speak directly to them.

Midwives run clinics Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. They can be contacted on 01480 357145.

Patients with mental health problems are encouraged to have a yearly physical check-up with one of our healthcare assistants. Patients will receive a letter inviting them to attend.

Some services provided fall outside the scope of the NHS and therefore attract charges.

Examples include the following:

-Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)

-Insurance claim forms

-Passport signing

-Prescriptions for taking medication abroad

-Private sick notes

-Vaccination certificates

Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about appointment availability. Please also leave sufficient time for your request to be completed as our first obligation is for NHS services. Our fees for these services can vary and the list is not exhaustive so please ask our reception team for information about the fees we charge.

Available Monday – Friday, early clinic available on Tuesday mornings from 07:00. Last appointment 15:45 due to collection pick up to take to Addenbrookes.  WCF offer evening and weekend appointments if more suitable.

You can self-refer from physiotherapy services provided by Dynamic Health by calling 0300 555 0123 or by completing a self-referral form.

Available most days Monday to Friday at Spinney, early Tuesday morning clinic starts at 07:00. Alternatively if you speak to reception you can book in with WCF who can offer evening and weekend appointments locally.

Patients need to fill in pre travel for at LEAST 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO TRAVEL.  Your travel needs will need to be assessed, and you will invited in for an appointment to discuss what immunisations your require.

If you are planning a travel to a foreign country and think you will need specific vaccinations, we are able to offer travel advice appointments with our nursing team.You can either speak to our reception team or complete a Travel Vaccinations Form which will let us know more information about your trip e.g. which countries and areas within countries that you plan to visit, the type of holiday etc. Once this is returned at the surgery, our team will then assess which vaccinations you will need before going on to make an appointment to discuss your travel arrangements and to administer your required vaccinations.We can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Travellers requiring special vaccines for yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis and rabies will need to visit a private clinic to have these vaccinations. Please know the ACWY meningitis and Hepatitis B vaccination can be given at the surgery but on a private basis involving a charge.For more information on which vaccinations you may need for a specific country, please access the Travel Health Pro website by clicking here.
